The Dominican Republic e-ticket: free, on the official site
Facts checked on September 10, 2026.
It's free, every passenger needs it to enter and to leave the country, and fake sites charge for it.

Where to fill it in
It's the portal of the Dirección General de Migración, the Dominican immigration authority, and the form is free.
What it is
A single digital form for Immigration, Customs and Public Health. You fill it in to enter the country and also to leave it, and it's required for every passenger, Dominican or foreign.
It's free
The Dirección General de Migración lists it as a free service, available 24 hours a day. If a site asks you to pay for the e-ticket, it isn't the official one.
When to fill it in
The recommendation is to fill it in before you head to the airport, up to 72 hours before your flight. Doing it ahead of time is optional.
- You can change it up to one day before the flight.
- If you create a new one, the latest one counts.
- One QR code covers the whole group on the same form.
- The customs section is only for travelers over 18.
How to spot the official site
Watch out for fake sites
On June 3, 2025, the Dirección General de Migración said it was working with the National Cybersecurity Center against fake sites that charge for the e-ticket, and repeated that it's free.
On June 18, 2024, Listín Diario reported on a fake portal, eticket.portalmigracion.com, that came up first on Google and charged a tourist for the form.
Dominican government sites end in .gob.do, .gov.do or .mil.do, and the e-ticket one is eticket.migracion.gob.do. Check the address before you type in your details: coming up first on Google doesn't make a site official.
If you arrive without it
According to the Ministry of Tourism's manual (2022), not having it filled in doesn't stop you from traveling: you can fill it in at the airport, on the free wifi, before you go through immigration. But Civil Aviation Board resolution 178-2021 requires airlines to check it before boarding, so it's worth having it done.
